June 30-July 3 – Girl’s Overnight Robotics Class – Saint Leo University is expanding its summer robotics camp programs for youths at the main campus. July 2   -- Next cookie class at the Dade City Woman’s Club is July 2nd at 6pm it is a Tuesday night. We will be making 4th of July cookies. Contact me Lisa Knous Green if you want to get on the list. The cost is $27.00 and all you have to bring is a 11x17 cookie sheet with an edge. Lashea N Jim Lockhart will have the cookies and all the piping bags for decorating. This class will be a little larger so more people who missed the other two can come.


July 6 – Making a Fairy Garden – From 9-11 a.m. join members of the UF/IFAS Pasco Extension to make fairy gardens with succulents. Everyone will take one home. July 7 – Japan Festival – Encounter “Omotenashi” (the wasy of Japanese hospitality) at the Happy Science temple of Zephyrhills, 5208 Eighth Street. The program begins at 2 p.m. and includes Japanese folksongs, dance, storytelling, food, origami, calligraphy, an introduction to Japanese language, a flea market and more. July 8-12 – Liberty Camp – hosted by the First Baptist Church of Dade City, incoming 1-6th graders can have some colonial fun while exploring the Biblical history of the United States. Visit the church’s website at for information.

July 20 – Mud Endeavor Under The Lights Dade City– Mud Endeavor is an adventure, obstacle, and mud run event. It’s a course that will challenge you physically and give you a thrilling experience. The event allows you to run individually, or run with a group of friends, family, or co-workers. The course is designed to allow each participant to challenge themselves to their mental and physical limits. The event will run from 7-11 p.m. at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 S.R. 52. Aug. 2 – The (not so basic) Basic Course - Photography Workshop – This workshop is designed to help accelerate the learning process and gives you the information you need to become more familiar with your own camera.
