Experience a living history reenactment of the first battle of the Second Seminole War. At this site on December 28, 1835, 180 Seminole warriors ambushed Major Francis Dade and his command of 107 U.S. soldiers. Park gates open at 9 a.m. with activities and food concessions going until 5 p.m. Battle reenactment at 2 p.m. each day.

Reenactment Parking:

Parking: Take CR 476 west to CR 607B south to end of road.Trams will be provided to the soldier camp, Seminole camp, sutler/vendor and reenactment areas.
