GARDEN 1 - A peaceful garden designed for contemplation at St. Mary’s.  This beautiful church was built in 1891 and moved to this location it’s current location in 1920.  The master landscape plan was professionally done, and is being implemented over time. Several church members are master gardeners and are assisting other members in adopting specific areas for maintenance.  Do not miss the Children’s Garden!

GARDEN 2 - A busy professional tends this urban refuge surrounding an historic home.  Beds strive to provide year-round color with numerous heirloom shrubs (camellias, roses, etc) as well as newer knockout roses.  There is an herb garden as well as an ancient camphor garden (over 100yrs old).  Make sure to see the containers on the pool deck and rear porch.

GARDEN 3 - This is a 25 year old garden filled with the owners collected plants and art. Although partial to bromeliads, the owners’ nurture orchids and large beds filled with an eclectic mix of heirlooms and newer varieties.    They have created a quiet glen inthe midst of the city. Check out the home owners pictures of the original yard to gain full appreciation of their efforts.

GARDEN 4 - This is a fairly new garden. The owner has filled their large home site with lush tropical plantings and palms. There is an inviting side entrance that draws you to the rear yard. An orchid collection is near the pool.

GARDEN 5 - This garden will transport you to the Far East. The owner’s late husband lived in Japan for several years and brought home Japanese lanterns as well as an appreciation for the beauty of Asian design. There are numerous water features and garden rooms.  Dense plantings and unique, antique fencing provide a calming seclusion. Allow extra time to absorb all the details found in this garden.

PHOTOS OF KAY TANNO'S YARDIS AN OLD STUMP THAT HAS BECOME A GREAT HOST FORKAY'S BROMELIADS AND ANGEL COLLECTION.

Kay Tanno welcomes us into her garden through a salvaged gate with antique iron birds on each post.  Her wonderful garden is filled with an amazing collection of yard art and plants collected over 25 years.  Kay's yard reflects her deep love of art in all forms.

Ann Johnson welcomes us into her Asian garden through an iron gate and fence from the early 1900's.  It was salvaged from the Diocese of the Central Florida Rectory in Winter Park.  When you step through this gate you enter an almost zen-like calm, serene, retreat that Ann and Frank Johnson created together.
