Experience a living history reenactment of the first battle of the Second Seminole War. At this site on December 28, 1835, 180 Seminole warriors ambushed Major Francis Dade and his command of 107 U.S. soldiers. Park gates open at 9 a.m. with activities and food concessions going until 5 p.m. Battle reenactment at 2 p.m. each day. Donations: $6 for adults; $2 for children 6-12; & under 6 free.

Reenactment Parking: Free at Kenny Dixon Sports Complex (SR 48 & CR 603) with free shuttle bus to park.
